July 15-26, 2026
Bilguisa and her sister are going to play the beautiful game - if they can pass a gender challenge from the opposing team. In a waiting room at a testing facility, the sisters prepare to face public scrutiny of their private parts. Inspired by sisters Bilguisa and Salimata Simpore from Equatorial Guinea, this story is informed by countless Black women in the public eye. Shout out to Caster Semenya, Serena Williams, Megan Thee Stallion, Michelle Obama and to every Black trans woman who deserves to live an unbothered life.
