New Harlem Productions will spend September in residency at McMaster University’s Lyons Family Studio with Panoptikon. As a guest of the Humanities Department we are exploring text, tech, movement, mics, access and integrity. Building on our work at Rumble Theatre and Joy Kogawa House, this residency is a timely immersion in a community of curiosity, in an environment of innovation and a spirit of discovery. This is a period of research and process development as we work to embed abolitionist values in our work onstage and off.
We are grateful for the support of the Ontario Arts Council.
