Black of Caribbean heritage, Sapphire is a queer, gender-expansive world-builder and Truthteller. Their life purpose and various work opportunities align in co-imagining, building with, and advocating for ACB queertrans community. Sapphire finessed York University for their Master’s of Education to support their brilliance behind building dope Black-centered programming in non-profit and educational institutions. Sapphire loves quiet, trees and believes Black radical rest charges our superpowers. With that being said, Sapphire takes a lot of naps, likes to hang out with they Granny on the phone and prefers tea to coffee.

Ophira Calof (She/They) is a multi award winning Disabled writer, performer, and producer. Her work weaves together music, comedy, and storytelling, centring disability and chronic illness experience. They co-created the sketch comedy revue Generally Hospital, and her solo show, Literally Titanium, recently premiered at the 2020 Next Stage Theatre Festival. Ophira also works as a curator, workshop facilitator, consultant, and keynote speaker with projects including COVID-19 through a Disability Lens: Storytelling and Filmmaking Project, and Making Space: Stories of Disabled Youth in the GTA.
